Liability Insurance

Liability claims continue to rise.  Protect your business assets from claims with Business Liability/Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance. We can help determine the type and amount of coverage you need.  After all, you cannot put a price on peace of mind.

Equine Commercial General Liability

These policies provide protection for professionals who are boarding, breeding, training, instructing or operating any eligible equine facility. Plans cover bodily injury and property damage to others arising from commercial equine activities.  While it is advised that independent contractors obtain their own commercial general liability policy, your coverage can be expended to cover independent trainers and instructors working at your facility.

Equine Personal Liability

Horse owners and those leasing a horse can purchase a policy to cover bodily injury or property damage caused by using the horse for personal or pleasure purposes. The policy can be either written for individuals or added to a commercial general liability policy and automatically includes a spouse and children of any age.

Care, Custody, and Control

This policy – ideal for anyone who boards, breed, trains or transports horses – protects the insured when they become legally obligated to pay for damages as a result of the death, theft or humane destruction of a covered animal due to negligence while in their care, custody or control.

Equine Clubs and Associations

Equine member organizations purchase this policy to provide liability coverage for public activities and event days where non-members participate or where the general public is invited.

Equine Event Policy

Ideal for horse shows, clinics, and equestrian related events, this coverage extends to the calendar dates of the event and includes pre-event set-up and post event break down.

Race Horse Owners and Trainers Commercial General Liability

Covers related activities of racehorse owners and trainers including breeding and sales.

** In addition to covering the claims described above, CGL policies also cover the cost to defend or settle claims – even if the claims are fraudulent. Business Liability insurance protects your business against financial loss resulting from claims of injury or damage caused to others by you or your employees. (Some coverages may not be available on all policies or in all states.)
